Morocco, USAID sign agreement on rural girls schooling

Morocco and the Unites States Agency for International Development (USAID) signed in Rabat on Monday the fifth addendum to the agreement under which the US finances basic education programs for girls in rural areas.
Under the fifth addendum, the USAID earmarks $ 550,000 and commits to carry on its close "technical and strategic" collaboration with the Moroccan government to develop education programs and plans adapted to the new education system in Morocco.
The USAID will also extend its activities to cover water supply, health and economic growth.
