Very hot weather in Jordan

A very hot wave coming from the Indian peninsula hit Jordan as the temperature increased 7 degrees centigrade above the average for this month.
41 Jordanians had sunstroke and most of them fainted due to the severe temperature due to which electricity was cut due to air-conditioning electricity demand, leaving street traffic without lights, people stuck in elevators, and goods damaged in stores due to lack of refrigeration.
King Abdullah II visited the civil defense ministry which was handling many of those who needed medical help.
