Cairo calls for cooperation in fighting terrorism

Speaker of the Egyptian parliament Fatehi Srour stressed in a speech he delivered on Monday before the conference of Parliamentarians federation conference in the Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC the need of "cooperation among the Islamic states in fighting terrorism and taking into account good neighbors and preventing the use of its territories by individuals or groups to commit terrorist acts against the member states." He called on the OIC which includes 56 countries to move in order to convene an international conference to fighting terrorism at the auspices of the UN.
