Islamists in Algeria denounce visit of independent Algerian journalists to Israel

Algerian journalists who arrived back from Israel on Monday were received at the airport of the capital Algiers by slogan accusing them of " treason." The slogans were made by Islamists demonstrators.

Some several hundreds of activists in the " society's movement for the sake peace, gathered at the entrance of the airport and chanted slogans like " traitors and criminals" and were heard and seen by those journalists a who paid a visit to Israel lasted for 10 days.

The demonstrators also attacked some 100 journalists who arrived in the airport to cover news on the return back of the delegation and chanted also slogans saying" Jewish press, and " no for normalization with Israel."

The police dispersed the demonstrators so as to enable the returning back delegation from leaving the airport, where they were welcomed by journalists and figures from the democratic trend.
