GCC secretary commends Saudi- Kuwaiti agreement

The secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC Sheikh Jamil al-Hujeilan has expressed his satisfaction and happiness over the agreement signed on Sunday between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait over dividing the area adjoining their joint borders which is rich in oil.
In a statement released on Monday from the headquarters of the GCC in al-Riyadh, Sheikh al-Hujeilan said that this agreement is an important accomplishment which would contribute to strengthening the already firm fraternal relations between the two peoples and countries and ending the border issue.
Sheikh al-Hujeilan extended greetings to King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia and to the ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah whose directives helped in giving the agreement a great success.
