King Mohammed receives Israeli telecommunication minister

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, who was accompanied by his brother Prince Moulay Rachid, received at the Royal Office in Rabat Friday Israeli deputy premier and telecommunications minister, Benyamin Ben Eliezer.
The Israeli official handed to the king a stamp bearing the effigy of the late King Hassan II, that was issued by the Israeli telecommunication ministry on the occasion of the first anniversary of the demise of the late sovereign.
The late King Hassan II passed away on July 23rd 1999.
The Israeli official told reporters after the audience that this is his third visit to Morocco, adding "We pay tribute to the memory of the late sovereign, not only through the issuing of stamps, but also through naming main avenues, roads, and major projects after him," the telecommunications minister said.
The Israeli official was accompanied by deputy minister of telecommunications, Yitzhaq Vaknin, chairman of the World Union of Moroccan Judaism, Raphy Edery, chairman of the national commission in charge of the commemoration of the demise of the late King Hassan II, and the head of Israel's liaison bureau in Rabat, Gadi Golan.
The audience was attended on the Moroccan side by Advisor to the sovereign, Andre Azoulay, Secretary of state for post and new information technologies, Larbi Ajjoul, and director general of the studies and documentation department, general Abdelhaq Kadiri.
