Algeria-Morocco, Politics, 7/1/2000
Before leaving Tunis, Algerian President Abd El-Aziz Bu Taflika stated yesterday evening in a speech his country's support for the self - determination right of the western Sahara, saying that "the principle of respecting self-determination is our only concern in this case."
Bu Taflika said that "Algeria does not accept the accomplished fact and it also refuses the law of the jungle."
He added that "we are looking for a permanent and honorable solution in the framework of the balanced democratic relations that could open wide horizons for the Maghreb Union and to cancel the borders with the consent of all the area's people."
