Algerian and Tunisian presidents call for an urgent Arab summit

Algerian President Abd al-Aziz BuTaflika and Tunisian counterpart Zein El-Abidin Bin Ali emphasized the necessity for convening an urgent Arab summit and seeking to exert all the efforts to enhance confidence, rapprochement and solidarity among the Arab states.
The two presidents emphasized the necessity of regaining the complete national rights of the Palestinian people and Syria's in regaining full back the occupied Golan as well as the complete withdrawal from south Lebanon.
The two spoke in a joint statement last night after their talks during Bu Taflika's visit to Tunis of their deep anxiety for the continued suffering of the Iraqi people and they asked the international community to make haste in lifting up the imposed sanctions on Iraq.
