73,000 refugees in Yemen

The Yemeni news agency said that Yemen shelters more than 73,000 refugees 93% of whom are Somalis according to the figures of the supreme commissariat for the refugees affiliated to United Nations.
A statement by the commissariat said that the total number of the refugees reaches 73,000 from different nationalities, adding that the Somalis form the great majority as their number exceeds 67,000 followed by the Eritreans then Ethiopians.
According to the statement, Yemen shelters refugees from other nationalities especially from Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, Djibouti, Zaire and Ghenia.
