Resuming Syrian - Israeli peace negotiations in August

There is great optimism in Damascus regarding the resumption of the peace process on the Syrian - Israeli track in August.
Official Syrian sources expressed the possibility of resuming the peace negotiations in August adding that Barak understood that there is no security for Israel in view of its unilateral withdrawal from south Lebanon. They added that the withdrawal stopped a daily bleeding and Hezbollah will remain armed, and that Israel's security will require a just and comprehensive peace.
The Syrian sources are talking about the visit of the U.S secretary of State Madeleine Albright's on 25th of coming month.
