Beshara reiterates his backing to the Lebanese national resistance

Azmi Beshara, member of the Israeli Knesset for the Arab list, has called on the Israeli government to determine the responsibility of Israel's involvement in South Lebanon.

In an interview with the Israeli army radio on Wednesday, Beshara added that the Israelis have to determine whose responsibilities were the killing of thousands of Lebanese and Arab citizens on the Lebanese territories. He stressed his unwavering stand in that the works and activities of the Lebanese national resistance against the Israeli occupation are legitimate.

Worthy mentioning the Israeli police had summoned Beshara for investigation over statements he made in which he commended the operations carried out by the Lebanese national resistance.

Several members of the Israeli Knesset had called for lifting parliamentary immunity from Beshara and to bring him before the court.
