Lebanese PM hails Security Council call for Israel to stop its violations in Lebanon
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 6/27/2000
Lebanese prime minister Salim al-Hoss renewed his country's conditions for the settlement with Israel and emphasized that the settlement must be based on the correlation of the Lebanese and Syrian tracks as well as finding a fair solution to the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
He said conditions of settlement must comprise the Israeli withdrawal from the Lebanese land including Shebaa farms and releasing the rest of the detainees and captives in its prisons as well as compensating Lebanon for its losses due to the Israeli occupation to south Lebanon.
He praised the request of the UN security council from Israel to stop the violations in Lebanon as soon as possible.
