Lt. Gen. Tlass confers with Dutch military delegation

Lt. Gen. Mustafa Tlass, deputy commander in chief of the army and armed forces, deputy premier and defense minister on Monday met with the delegation of the Dutch air force led by col. Van Ingergin.
The meeting was attended by the Dutch ambassador and military attache, in Damascus The visiting chairman offered his commiseration and heartfelt condolences in his name, the name of the delegation and the Dutch people on the demise of the late President Hafez al-Assad.
Tlass conveyed greeting of Lt. Gen. Bashar to members of the visiting delegation, noting the Syrian people's clinging to the leadership of Lt. Gen. Bashar.
Lt. Gen. Tlass highlighted ME peace process developments. He stressed Syria's care to achieving a just and comprehensive peace and her adherence to international legitimacy resolutions and the land for peace formula so as to maintain stability in the region.
The two sides then reviewed friendship and cooperation relations linking the armies of the two friendly countries and means of developing them in the interests of Syria and Holland.
