Palestinian government released detained journalist

The Palestinian government on Sunday evening released in Gaza strip the Palestinian journalist Abdullah Issa of al-Sharq al-Awsat paper after he was seized for several days. The Israeli radio said that Issa was arrested on Tuesday and was interrogated after he had published in the said papers during 1999 and 1998 reports speaking about corruption in the circles of the Palestinian government.
