Jordanian delegation returns home from visiting liberated south Lebanon
Jordan-Lebanon, Politics, 6/27/2000

The Jordanian trade Union delegation arrived back in Amman following a visit to South Lebanon to congratulate the Lebanese brothers on liberating South Lebanon from the Israeli occupation. Three of the Jordanian delegation were wounded by the bullets of the Israeli soldiers at the border point between Lebanon and Israel.

The delegation was met with great welcome at the square of the Jordanian vocational trade unions, by crowded number of Jordanian citizens and various people's party, women and trade unions activists.

During the welcome, the chairman of the Jordanian vocational trade unions council Taher al-Shakhshir and the chairman of the Jordanian Bar-association Saleh al-Armouti made speeches in which they condemned the Israeli aggression on members of the delegation and highly praised the position taken by the Lebanese and Jordanian governments in condemning this " coward " Israeli act.
