Israel claims Hizbullah activities in South Lebanon
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 6/27/2000

The Israeli paper YEDIOT AHRONOT issued on Monday revealed that members of the Hizbullah party have repeatedly leaked through the international borders with Lebanon since the withdrawal of the Israeli army from South Lebanon since almost one month.

The Israeli army quoted the paper as saying that Israeli military sources stressed the infiltration operations aimed at collecting intelligence information in redeployment of the Israeli army forces along the new border lines between Israel and Lebanon and monitoring the activities carried out by the Israeli army.

The same Israeli military sources stressed that Hizbullah continued during the current month building of the military infrastructure in South Lebanon near the border with Israel.
