10 years imprisonment for three parliamentarians

The supreme state security court in Egypt issued 10 years imprisonment against three members of parliament from the ruling national party . They have been convicted of embezzlement crimes in the biggest corruption case in the country since 20 years.
The case had preoccupied the public opinion in Egypt for three years. The case relates to bank loans totaling a billion L.E without sufficient guarantees.
The court issued 15 years of hard labor against 3 suspects all of whom are fugitives. Another 14 persons received 10 years imprisonment among whom are the three members of parliament and a former minister. Three years prison terms were given to 7 others.
