Al-Shara confers with Iraqi counterpart

Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara on Sunday in Damascus met with Iraqi counterpart Muhammad Saeed al-Sahaf. Talks dealt with bilateral relations and means of developing them.
The meeting was attended by deputy foreign minister Suleiman Haddad and the Iraqi foreign ministry secretary Riad al-Qeisi.
On the other hand, a telephone call was made on Sunday between the Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara and his Moroccan counterpart Mohamed Benaissa. Recent developments in the region and means of revitalizing bilateral relations were discussed.
