Barak and the Syrian track

Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Barak said that Israel is ready to resume negotiations with Syria, noting in this regard that no change has been made on the Israeli position to keeping the Tiberies lake area under the Israeli control.
During the weekly session of the Israeli Cabinet held on Sunday, Barak said the width of the strip surrounding this lake depends of the nature of peace to be concluded with Syria.
On border demarcation with Lebanon, Barak said that the UN forces completed the demarcation of the so-called Blue line and that Israel is currently working to deal with technical problems to find out an outlet for these problems.
