Saudi - French military cooperation

French Defense Minister Alain Richard is arriving today in Saudi Arabia on an official visit for discussions with Saudi counterpart Prince Sultan Bin Abd al-Aziz that tackle military cooperation, security and stability of the Gulf area as well as the status of Iraq.
The two sides will also discuss the possibility of providing Saudi Arabia with the French tankers 'Le Kurk' after the French changes to the artillery and electronic equipment in the tank according to the Saudi request.
