Yemeni minister: Kidnapping foreigners not related to economic crisis

Yemeni Information Minister Abd El-Rahman El-Akwea said that "we overcame the maritime and land disputes between Saudi Arabia an Yemen," - assuring that this agreement is based on a long discussion and a strong adherence from the two sides that the coming generations will enjoy the continuation of this agreement.

He remarked that kidnapping foreigners would is not related to the economic crisis. He said there are those who try to imply that it is for political and economic motives, but it is a result of the outlaw people.

He said that issuing the death sentence against 7 kidnappers could limit this phenomenon , adding these kidnappers do not represent any tribe , but are members representing themselves for that they are hired ones and Yemen will overcome this problem.
