Saudi warning to illegal emigrants to leave the country

The Saudi authorities on Wednesday warned foreigners who illegally live in the country that they might be jailed for six months and fined for a great sum of money if they do not leave the Saudi territories.
In a statement he made on Wednesday, the director general of the passport and migration department Lt. Gen. Abdul Aziz Bin Jamil Sajeini said that the minister of the Interior prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz had given his instructions to take tough measures against those who are late in leaving the country after performing al-Haj or al-Omra rituals.
Sajeini said the sanctions might reach six month imprisonment and a financial fees that might reach 100,000, together with quitting these illegal emigrants outside the country.
The Saudi official called on foreigners who are illegally living in Saudi Arabia to quickly contact the passport department to facilitate their leaving back to their countries properly.
