80 items on agenda of Islamic conference in Malaysia

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa is to head Egypt's delegation to the conference of the Islamic countries foreign ministers that is to begin in the Malaysia on Tuesday for 3 days. 56 member countries of this Islamic conference organization are to participate.

Moussa will deliver Egypt's statement to the conference.

An official source in the foreign ministry said that "the conference is to discuss 80 items raised on the agenda concerning the main subjects topped by the peace process developments in M.E in framework of the security council resolutions N 242 and 338 and the international legitimacy resolutions as well as land for peace principle."

The conference will also discuss developments of the Palestinian cause, Jerusalem's cause and providing the financial support for Jerusalem's fund and Jerusalem's house of finance.

Also the illegal settlements in Palestine and other Israeli practices as well as its effect on the area.

The foreign ministers will review the situation in the occupied Syrian Golan and the necessity of the Israeli withdrawal to lines of 4th of June 1967.

The conference will also tackle some draft resolutions among which is the proposal presented by Malaysia concerning the status in Cheshnya and putting an end to the refugees' tragedy, finding a political settlement to problem and a special item for supporting Sudan in keeping its regional safety and territorial integrity.

The conference also discusses forming a special team to put an end to the Somali tragedy.

It is decided that the conference will tackle choosing a new secretary general for the Islamic conference organization to succeed the current one.
