France, Jordan sign memorandum agreement

A memorandum of understanding was issued in Amman on Wednesday provides for Jordanian- French cooperation in the framework of the program of monitoring and economy of using irrigation waters
The memorandum aims at setting the foundation of cooperation between the two sides in water management use in territories, re-using treated water in agriculture, production costs, organizing irrigation system in agricultural loans measures and technical support to agriculture.
On the Jordanian side, the agreement was signed by the Jordanian minister of waters and irrigation Hatem Helwani and the French minister of cooperation and the Francophony.
