Lebanese president confers with Mexican foreign minister

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud on Wednesday at Baabda palace received Mexico Foreign Minister Rosario Green who arrived in Beirut on Tuesday evening.
President Lahoud received from the visiting minister an invitation from his Mexican counterpart to visit Mexico.
Bilateral relations between Lebanon and Mexico and the situation in the region were discussed.
Earlier in the day, Speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri met with the Mexican minister.
Means of deepening bilateral relations between Lebanon and Mexico were discussed.
The Mexican minister said following the meeting she was due to sign three agreements with Lebanon on Wednesday.
