Some 23 Moroccan Illegal Immigrants Rescued... Thanks to GSM

Some 23 Moroccan nationals, who were trying to illegally reach Spain aboard a small boat, were on the verge of drowning, when they were rescued thanks to a mobile phone, reports Spanish El Mundo daily.
The candidates to illegal immigration managed to make distress calls from a mobile phone.
The adventurers, known in Morocco as Harragas (those who burn everything), were taken to a police station in Algesiras, southern Spain, pending their repatriation to Morocco.
Some 112 sub-Saharan and Maghreban undocumented immigrants were intercepted in the Gibraltar Strait during the last few days.
