Israel ready to hold summit with Palestinians under US auspices

Dan Yatom, the advisor of the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak for the security affairs, said that Israel is ready to convene an Israeli - Palestinian work summit under the auspices of the U.S President Bill Clinton during the coming few-days in order to reach agreement on final status issues.
He assured of the existence of a good possibilities that the summit would result in an important frame agreement for the coming stage of negotiations.
Yet Nabeel Abdu Rodinah, the advisor of the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, excluded convening a U.S - Palestinian - Israeli summit before achieving serious progress in the Palestinian - Israeli negotiations in its final and transitional parts.
