Moroccan- Egyptian commission for scientific and technological research opens in Cairo

The Moroccan-Egyptian joint commission for scientific and technological research opened in Cairo on Sunday under the co-chairmanship of the two states' higher education minister, Najib Zerouali and Moufid Shihab.
The two sides voiced determination to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.
They also underlined the need to strengthen inter-Arab cooperation to face up the globalization challenges and stressed the role of education in economic and social development.
The commission meeting is part of implementation of the scientific and technological cooperation agreement concluded between the two countries in February 1999.
