Syria's foreign minister discusses developments with Lebanese, Iranian counterparts

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss on Sunday received a telephone call from the Syrian Foreign minister Farouk al-Shara.
Al-Shara asked for an update for the Lebanese stance on the Israeli pullback from South Lebanon.
Al-Shara stressed Syria's firm stand in support for Lebanon in its just calls.
The Lebanese prime minister also received two telephone calls form the EU Middle east peace process envoy Miguel Angel Moratinos and the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Muhammad Ali Sahabani, acting on behalf of the Iranian Foreign minister kamal Kharazzi.
The two phone calls asked for details for the Lebanese stance on the UN Secretary general Kofi Annan;s announcement concerning the Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon.
The Syrian foreign minister also received a telephone call from the Iranian foreign minister Dr, kamal Kharazi.
The two ministers. During their telephone talk exchanged view points about the latest developments in the region. They stressed the necessity of consolidating the already strong ties between the two friendly countries.
