Bu Taflika remembers thousands of Algerian soldiers killed in First World War

At the same time in which the violence works continues in Algeria - the Algerian President Abd El-Aziz Bu Taflika hailed the thousands of Algerian soldiers who were killed in France during the first world war.
He said those Algerians' contribution in supporting France was met by a strong disregard by the mass media and so far history books have not recognized their scarifies.
More than 150,000 Algerian soldiers fought side by side with France who was the colonial power ruling Algeria during the First World War where nearly 25,000 soldiers were killed in this war.
Meanwhile, APS said today was the last day of the president's visit to France where he ended it by meeting Algerian expatriates.
