Morocco, Mali Agree to Foster Economic, Commercial Cooperation

Moroccan economy and finance minister, Fathallah Oualalou, and Malian peer, Bakari Kounou, examined at a meeting here Thursday means to upgrade Moroccan-Malian economic and commercial cooperation.
The two parties surveyed Morocco's experience in financial management and foreign investments promotion.
For his part, Moroccan industry, trade and handicraft minister, Alami Tazi, studied with Malian tourism minister, Ms. Zakayatou Walet ways to enhance commercial ties between the two nations.
The two sides called for activating a bilateral accord on the promotion of trade exchanges.
Meantime, Ways to enhance Moroccan-Malian cooperation in tourism realms topped talks held here Thursday between Moroccan tourism minister, Hassan Sebbar, and Malian peer, Ms. Zakayatou Walet Halatine. Talks focused on cooperation in the exchange of expertise and the holding of training sessions for Malian cadres in Morocco.
The Malian official was part of the delegation that accompanied President Alpha Omar Konare during the visit he paid to Morocco at the invitation of King Mohammed VI.
