Butaflika and Sid AhmedTaya to visit Tunis this month

It is decided that the Algerian president Abd al-Aziz Butaflika and the Mauritanian counterpart Maaouya Ould Sid AhmedTaya will pay two separate visits to Tunis before the end of the current month.

Butaflika decided to visit Tunis last Thursday yet the visit was delayed for health reasons.

On the other hand, Moroccan parties urged on revitalizing the frozen Arab Maghreb Union since 1995 and investing the development of democratic gains in the Maghreb states to give a push for the general meeting of the Maghreb parties which comprises 35 ruling and opposition parties from Morocco, Algeria, Tunis, Libya and Mauritania which finished their meeting in Tunis last Sunday.
