Morocco-Sweden, Culture, 6/15/2000

Ways to enhance cooperation ties between the Moroccan human rights department and the Swedish Human rights institute of Raul Willinbourg were studied Wednesday at a meeting here between human rights minister, Mohamed Aujjar, and the Institute's director, Alfredson.

The two sides discussed cooperation in matters of documentation and training in the various human rights specialties.

Aujjar briefed the Swedish official on Morocco's policy in the fields of democracy, human rights as well as the country's efforts to consolidate the rule of law.

The Swedish Institute seeks to promote research, training and education in matters of human rights. It has cooperation ties with several countries.
