Palestine does not object to a three-way summit among Arafat, Clinton and Barak
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 6/15/2000
Ambassador Hassan Abd El-Rahman, representative of the Palestinian government in Washington said that "the Palestinian side does not object convening the trio summit which comprises Arafat, the U.S President Bill Clinton and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak." Yet he placed a condition that first, progress from the Israeli side must be made in the negotiations concerning all the related issues.
Abd El-Rahman assured that there is an Israeli procrastination and obstinacy that was witnessed by the Palestinian negotiators in previous PM Netanyahu's era saying that what is required is U.S pressure on Israeli negotiators to achieve a progress.
