Israeli Knesset member meets Moussa; urges four-way summit

Member of the Israeli Knesset urged the holding of a four-way summit among Clinton - Mubarak - Barak and Arafat.
Saleh Tarif, member of Israeli Knesset who is currently visiting Cairo assured that the peace process on the Palestinian track is currently facing very sensitive circumstances that require finding quick solutions due to the internal status and coalition problems in the Israeli government.
In answering journalists following his meeting with Amr Moussa the Egyptian foreign minister in the attendance of Israel's ambassador at Cairo, he said that if these problems were not solved, it will be difficult for Barak to take a decision toward the peace process that enjoys majority support, referring to the necessity of solving problems of the Israeli governmental coalition with the Shas extremist party which is represented by 17 members in the Knesset.
He added that the current circumstances require the cooperation of the Egyptian leadership to convene a summit comprising President Mubarak, Arafat, Ehud Barak and Bill Clinton to find a solution for the current situation, referring that he conveyed some ideas from Ehud Barak and raised it at Amr Moussa in the framework of exchanging ideas with Egypt.
