Barak denies convening four-member summit

Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Barak has denied that he had proposed the convening of a four-member summit including Israel, the Palestinian government, the USA and Egypt, before reaching an Israeli- Palestinian peace agreement.
A spokesman for the Israeli cabinet said " no proposal has been made to this effect."
In conclusion of a meeting held on Wednesday with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, the Arab- Israeli member of parliament Saleh Tarif said that he " informed Moussa on some ideas he had carried from the Israeli Prime Minister, especially the proposal to convene a four-member summit."
Moussa, on the other hand denied Egypt's participation in any possible meeting including the US President Bill Clinton, the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and the Israeli prime minister.
