Clinton: we hope to resume peace efforts with Syria

US President Bill Clinton has expressed his hope that Syria and the US will shortly continue work for achieving peace in the region.
The US President said on Tuesday evening while offering condolences on the death of the late President al-Assad in a meeting with the Arab- American Institute that he had visited Syria and met with President Hafez al-Assad repeatedly and that he is all hope for the resumption work between the two countries for the sake of peace.
