Egypt assures standing by the Syrian people and leadership

Diplomatic sources assured that Egypt would support Syria in the critical period following death of the late Syrian president Hafez El-Assad. The sources told ArabicNews that all the Arab leadership will back Bashar al-Assad in the coming period whether in the negotiations with Israel or against any attempts to shake stability and security. They added Syria's position on talks with Israel is clear which is the complete Israeli withdrawal from Golan and regaining all the Arab right assuring that the basis for peace are clear and its way is easy if Israel is sincere.
