Morocco and France sign regional cooperation agreement

The Moroccan eastern region of Oujda and the French region of Champagne- Ardennes signed in Oujda Sunday a framework convention to enhance cooperation between the two regions.
The agreement provides for an active and fruitful cooperation focused on local development through joint actions in the fields of youth and employment, promotion of local industry, development of farming areas, promotion of economic, cultural and social relations and exchange of know-how and experiences.
The two sides also examined the possibility of setting up a liaison between Moroccan airports and Europort Vatry airport in Champagne-Ardennes for the transport of goods.
