On the visit of the Turkish President to Syria

The Syrian charge d'affairs in the Turkish capital Ankara Muhammad Saeed al-Bunni said replying to questions put by the Turkish TV and radio networks on the impressions of the Syrian side over the high ranking representing by the Turkish side to the funeral of the late President al-Assad, that level of representation is a generous gesture from the Turkish side that will have a sound impact on the Syrian people and government. He stressed this gesture will also help the developments of bilateral relations forward.

Replying to another question on areas he expected to have cooperation between the two states following this visit, al-Bunni added relations between the two countries have started to move forward on all levels and these relations are good now.

He said that the visit of the Turkish president to Damascus will give these relations a push forward.
