Signing an agreement for demarcing the maritime borders and Pakistan

Oman and Pakistan singed an agreement to demarcate borders in the Indian Ocean.
Oman's foreign minister Youssef Bin Alawi said that "the signature came following the talks between Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed yesterday with the executive ruler of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf.
He said the agreement will contribute to enhancing the bilateral cooperation and developing the joint interests adding that Oman adheres on finishing border demarcation with neighboring countries in addition to supporting security and stability in the area.
Oman finished demarcation of its borders with Yemen and Saudi Arabia in addition to a large part of its borders with the United Arab Emirates.
