Morocco has enough water reserves to cater for needs of almost all urban and rural areas

Moroccan equipment minister, Bouamar Taghouane said Tuesday that Morocco's present water reserves are enough to meet the needs of almost all urban and rural areas despite 2 successive years of drought.
Taghouane who was speaking at the question-time of the chamber of advisers (upper house of parliament), said about 620,000 inhabitants are affected by water shortage and that the ministry has drawn up a program to alleviate the effects of this problem especially in rural areas.
