Sweden sponsors training session for African women entrepreneurs in Morocco
Morocco-Sweden, Economics, 6/13/2000

A training session for some sixty women entrepreneurs, 20 of whom represent sub-Saharan Africa, was held last week in Kenitra (40 Km from Rabat), part of a program of the Swedish Agency for Industrial Development.

The training session, sponsored by Moroccan ministry of industry, trade and handicraft, covers economic, technical and financial studies, Moroccan taxation system, financing credit lines and legal and administrative procedures for setting up an enterprise.

Young promoters from sub-Saharan Africa represent Guinea, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, Senegal and Cameron.
