Lt. Gen. Bashar al-Assad confers with commander of the Lebanese army

The commander general of the army and armed forces Bashar al-Assad on Monday received the commander of the Lebanese army Lt. Gen. Michael Suleiman.
The meeting was attended by the army chief of staff Lt. Gen. Ali Aslan.
Lt. Gen. Suleiman conveyed to Lt. Gen. Bashar al-Assad condolences of the Lebanese army on the death of the President.
The Lebanese army commander also congratulated Bashar al-Assad on assuming his new post as commander of the army and armed forces.
