Bashar al-Assad receives a telephone call from Qaddafi

Lt. Gen. Bashar al-Assad on Sunday evening received a telephone call from Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi during which he offered condolences to Bashar al-Assad, the al-Assad family and the Syrian people on the demise of the late President Hafez al-Assad.
Bashar al-Assad also on Sunday evening received a telephone call from the Saudi Prince Bander Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz in which he expressed his cordial condolences and heart-felt commiseration on the demise of the late President Hafez al-Assad.
