Moussa meets U.S envoy to Sudan

Sudanese opposition Umma party leader Sadek al-Mahdi met yesterday in Cairo with special U.S envoy to Sudan Harry Johnston regarding reconciliation to end Sudan's internal crisis.
Al-Mahdi presented to Johnston a note prepared by the Umma party that assures the importance of the U.S.A's role in supporting a political solution to the Sudanese problem.
The note also referred that the U.S position gave contradicted signals in the past and demanded that the US position must be made clear for the good of finding a complete political solution.
Johnston for his part stated that the U.S position will be determined after meetings with all concerned parties, assuring Washington's desire for a just peace and democracy in Sudan.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met with Harry Johnston who is currently visiting Cairo and the meeting was attended by the U.S ambassador in Cairo.
Following the meeting, Johnston said that his talks with Moussa were very fruitful and tackled Egypt's role in the peace process saying that he will head to Khartoum to meet the foreign minister and some Sudanese officials before heading to Norway to attend the conference of I.G.A.D partners in June 19th and 20th.
