Iraqi dailies highlights Hafez Al-Assad's death

Iraqi dailies on Sunday highlighted the news of President Hafez al-Assad's death.

In particular, the Iraqi daily Babel gave wide coverage in publishing news reports on three pages dealing with the lifetime of the President, his political position and the Arab and foreign reaction on his death and the measures taken by Syria and several Arab states in mourning him.

The same paper also published papers to President al-Assad where in one of them he was depicted with President Bill Clinton during their recent meeting in Geneva in March.
