First Tunisian passenger airplane lands in Libya

Eritrea has accepted an Orgaization of African Unity (OAU)Proposal for an immediate cessation of hostilities between Ethiopia and Eritrea. A budget worth $ 43 million was earmarked to finance housing projects in the Moroccan southern region of Oued Eddahab Lagouira, Housing secretary of state, Mohamed Lambarki said. The sum will be used to finance ongoing projects and projects that are yet to be launched, Lambarki said at a meeting with local elected representatives and economic operators in the region. The official also announced that four fisheries model villages will be built shortly in the region.

The Moroccan Hassan I university of Settat and the Mauritanian university of Nouakchott on Friday concluded a cooperation accord. The five-year renewable accord provides for concrete cooperation in matters of teaching and scientific research. Under the accord, Mauritanian graduate students will be trained in Morocco.
