Egypt asks USA to probe Boeing 767 tail defects

Egypt approached the US for probing potential defects of control systems of Boeing 767 aircraft as an alternative interpretation to the crash of EgyptAir plane last year.
The Civil Aviation Authority dispatched a message to the US Federal Aviation onthe existence of reports on contradictions in the tail group operation mechanism.
Meanwhile, a delegation representing the victims of the ill-fated Egypt Air plane and insurance companies will hold several meetings with Egypt Air officials to follow up the payment of compensations to foreign victims.
