Yemeni demonstration in protest of lack of security

Some 15,000 citizens from the Yemeni al-Dale, city held a peaceful demonstration on Monday in protest against the tough measures taken against them by members of contingent 35 of the Yemeni army.
One of the tribes chieftain said that the province of al-Dale, north Aden has been witnessing armed confrontation regularly between the army and the population since July 1998.
Thousands of Yemenis demonstrated on May 11 in al-Dale, in protest for the lack of security and the roughness of the army and the security forces following acts of violence during which one person was killed and five were wounded.
